Ports of Call - Voyages in Photography

We never imagined when we left Honolulu in 2007 to begin cruising that we would be visiting so many wonderful places. We had our "Plan" and we were sticking to it. That was in 2007. Today we joke that our plans last only as long as the docklines are attached.

Since then we have visited many places which we had not intended to. The saying, "Go with the flow" has a whole new meaning to us. Seasons, weather, tides and boat maintenance have become our compass. We leave when the season is right, tides and weather permitting. This is definatley a more nomad type of life. We tend to sail in the direction which offers the least amount of resistance. It is just easier that way.

Ports of Call allows Laura the opportunity to share our travels through her photographs and for us to share brief descriptions and port information on some of the places we've been.  It seems to us that sometimes life turns out better if things don't go according to plan.
